Karina thinks outside the box.
Passionate about public health, creativity, and helping others live their best lives, Karina approaches every project with one thing in mind: how can I make the end result memorable?
Karina joined the agency in early 2020, having spent over a decade working in the nonprofit health sector. Most recently she oversaw the communications for the American Society of Hematology’s multifaceted Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) Initiative. In addition, she managed the related SCD Coalition, a group of over 80 domestic and international organizations seeking to address health disparities for those living with the disease. Karina has also worked on maternal health, cancer, and gender inequities. Karina comes to McCabe with a desire to address health inequities in all health sectors.
Karina holds a master’s degree in Health Communications from a joint program with Emerson College and Tufts University and received her bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Creative Writing from Mary Baldwin College. When she isn’t working, you can find her attending a cardio dance workout class, reading, or binging her next TV show.
