The number of Americans aged 65 and over continues to rise, and their housing and healthcare needs are coming into sharper focus. The National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC) tapped McCabe Message Partners to craft a communications strategy that meets the needs of this rapidly changing sector.
Using interview insights and deep knowledge in healthcare and long-term care, we identified strategic opportunities for NIC to expand its audience. We identified unique ways to share NIC’s valuable data with media, senior care organizations, policymakers, and investors.
We developed a comprehensive media relations strategy- sharing NIC’s robust data with healthcare policy reporters, crucially important trade press and policymakers. Since McCabe Message Partners came aboard, conference attendance is up, social media engagement has skyrocketed, and media coverage has increased significantly. A report on the housing needs of middle-income seniors was covered by more than 120 outlets.
