Helping kids kick butts

Our team works with students, teachers and advocates to promote a national day of youth activism against Big Tobacco. Last year, media coverage for this one day exceeded 186 million impressions.

Helping kids kick butts long-term care

Despite the progress that our country has made in curbing tobacco use, nearly one in five Americans still smokes, and more than 2,800 kids try their first cigarette each day.

For a decade, our team has worked with students, teachers and advocates across the country to promote Kick Butts Day, a national day of youth activism. We spend months talking with local organizers about their Flash Mobs, rallies at state capitols, Zombie Walks and other events. We counsel them on media outreach and select the most mediagenic events in all 50 states. For those events we provide intensive pitching support. The events are always popular among national and local outlets.

2015 media coverage garnered 186+ million media impressions, including a letter in Annie’s Mailbox advice column and a profile of a youth advocate by Seventeen Magazine.
